Long Legs Rachel- Posted 4-6-07

One more pic for today! I just wanted to show you all how long her legs have stretched! :) She is drinking her juice and just posing for the camera! She doesn't have my legs so it looks like she has daddy's nice legs. Well, I'll post again soon! I pray you have a blessed day! (This is the day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad in it!)

Rachel Love Elmo's Potty Time DVD- Posted 4-5-07

Rachel just loves Elmo ("melmo") is what she calls him. Here she's holding a newer Elmo video about the potty... we're attempting potty training, but she's not too interested yet. I think the video has helped her to realize that other kids are going potty and she wants to sit on her potty, but NOW she wants to pull down her pants when she sits! (Of course, she still has her diaper on, but it's a start!)

This is a daily devotional that I get from Max Lucado... wonderful words and very wise.
Unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains a single grain of wheat; but if it dies, it brings a good harvest.
JOHN 12:24 (PHILLIPS)
We do all we can to live and not die. God, however, says we must die in order to live. When you sow a seed, it must die in the ground before it can grow. What we see as the ultimate tragedy, he sees as the ultimate triumph.
And when a Christian dies, it's not a time to despair, but a time to trust. Just as the seed is buried and the material wrapping decomposes, so our fleshly body will be buried and will decompose. But just as the buried seed sprouts new life, so our body will blossom into a new body. . . .
The seed buried in the earth will blossom in heaven. Your soul and body will reunite, and you will be like Jesus.
