V-day pics

Here are some pics that I took in February! Man, I'm behind! :)
February 13, My dad took out his girls to eat in Boerne. He loves us! :) We didn't get to walk around and shop this time, but it was nice to visit Boerne and "go out of town" as Rachel says. ;)

Later that night, Ben took his girls out to eat at Alamo Cafe and afterwards we walked the food off at La Cantera. Uncle Lee had sent us some money for V-day, so Rachel spent hers to buy a new Leah at Build-A-Bear. It was her first experience creating her own stuffed animal at Build-A-Bear, but she LOVED it! :) It was crazy due to V-day the next day, but it was a fun experience for us all! :)
THANK YOU UNCLE LEE!!! :)

Fatima (our cousin) went to the Zoo with us, it was one of those cold days. We took the train ride this time and Rachel just loved it! :) Fatima had a great time too, this was actually her first time visiting any zoo! We were so happy to bless her with a trip there. :)

Wall-E and Dental visit

Well, I guess that I didn't get back with those pictures the last time I posted! :( I LOVE reading blogs and get caught up reading them and run out of time to write my own! ;)
Anyhow, Rachel's new favorite movie (since Christmas) is Wall-E. If you haven't already seen it, it's a cute movie. Well, Rachel has watched it at least once a week since she's gotten it. So this past week, while Ben was on Spring Break, we went to North Star Mall to walk around. We ended up in the Disney Store and guess what section was her favorite? You guessed right, Wall-E! ;) Daddy bought her the small Wall-E stuffed animal. We were blessed to find that it was on sale, so we were able to buy EVE too ! :) She's been so excited to have her Wall-E and Eve, that she wants to take them everywhere, including the dentist visit. :) She had her first experience EVER with the dentist on Monday. Our doctor told us that she didn't need to be seen by the dentist until 3 yrs. old. So that's what we've done. :) She was the best little patient (in my mind) said the dentist, dental hygienist and dental assistant. :) I was a very proud momma! She did all that they asked and didn't even get scared! The assistant kept saying, "Wow, you are a brave girl, not even scared!" I kept thinking, don't tell her that! She doesn't know that the dentist is supposed to be scary. Oh well, I'm just glad and thankful that her teeth look "GREAT"(that's what the dentist said). She may have spaces in her teeth, but that's good for when her big teeth come in! Whew! I didn't know that until recently!

What a trooper! :)

Commandment #5

As I was about to put Rachel down for a nap... I told her that she has 5 more minutes to play. She says, "Some kids don't want to go to bed, but play instead. I am not like that, though, because I want to take a nap and listen to what mommy says."
"You know, like the commandment #5, bay (obey) your mommy and daddy. I want to bay my mommy." (BIG HUGE SMILE ON HER FACE and mine for that matter!) ;)

I had to record that today... I need to blog an update on Lee and also add some pics. I hope to get to it today. :)

Oh yeah, she took a nose dive the other afternoon on our walk so that's why her nose is a little scabbed. :) It wasn't that bad of a fall, more like a gravel burn, but it looked worse the following few days! ;)
