On Sunday, Ben and I took Rachel to Raymond Russell Park. She was so happy to go with mommy and daddy together. She even got on the HUGE medal slide! I was totally nervous that she'd fall, but she did very well. The first few times Ben went behind her to make sure that she didn't fall backwards. She wanted to go over and over. The funny thing is, she doesn't like to go down slides that are enclosed (or tubes). It's weird. I always encourage her to go on them, but she stays away from them as much as possible. The only time that she does go down them is when she's with another child. :)
(These pics were taken about a month ago at another park, but I didn't have my camera this weekend.)
On 9/9/08, my Ladies Bible Study started up again and I was OHHHHH, SOOOOOOOOOOO HAPPY!! I just love it when I can learn the precepts of God and fellowship with my sisters in Christ. I was honored to be asked to be a table leader in our Precepts class. Here's a pic of my mom (who also joins me in this class) and I on the first day.

A few posts ago, I mentioned that Mom and I had gone to the screening of Fireproof. (Go see it in theaters this weekend.) Anyhow, here's a pic of us getting ready to watch the fabulous movie. :) We sure did have fun talking, eating out and talking and watching a great movie and talking some more! My mom is the best. Thanks Mom for going with me and being such wonderful company always. :)

That slide at Raymond Russell IS huge. I remember those types of slides when I was little, too. When Chance slides down it, I usually have someone come up and tell me they're worried about my son, that he'll fall. Oh, if they only knew... It was definitely scary at first though!
