I wanted to ask for prayer on behalf of my brother, Lee. He had a mass removed from his chest area a month ago and had a biopsy of the mass. Turns out it is cancerous, but a form that is not probable of spreading (Thank God). It's called DFSP. He is having surgery Wed. morning (Tuesday night our time) on the ship to make sure there is no cancer in the area and anywhere else. I ask that you would pray for him to be at peace now and during the surgery and of course afterward. Also for the surgeon's to have wisdom and knowledge and precision during the surgery. Also, for Lee's quick recovery (he'll be given 2 wks off for that). Pray for my parents and I to have continued peace as we wait for word of what's happening. I am so grateful that Lee is being cared for by great physicians while on deployment. I know that God is in control and will give us all peace and joy during the storm. I love that I can call on my sisters-in-Christ to help me in prayer for my brother.

I just read this and can't help but wonder if he's gone through surgery already. Either way, I lift up prayer for Lee and your family! Please keep us posted.
