As I'm worshiping to that beautiful song, I am just reminded of the LOVE that my Lord has for me. Little ol' me! I am amazed daily of the LOVE and FAITHFULNESS that God has shown me throughout the years. HE never ceases to amaze me. These past weeks HE's been showing me through HIS word, devotionals, bible programs, and people that HE is in control of all things and HE wants what's best for me always (eventhough I may not see it at the time). Jeremiah 29:11 tells me that He knows the plans that He has for me, plans to prosper, not harm and to give me a future and a hope. How great is that!
He's been putting in my heart to also be content with what I have and in whatever I do. Philippians 4:11 Paul says to be content in whatever circumstances that we are in. I tend to get hung up on things that go wrong or that are not working "according to my plan" that I don't enjoy the opportunity that God has given me.
Also, I need to live life obedient to HIS will, not my own. Again in Philippians 2:4-5 Paul tells us not to merely look out for my own interests, but for the interests of others. He states that I need to have the attitude of Christ Jesus (humble).

If I listen and hear HIM, He will lead me to where He wants me to go. I pray each day that I will do that for the rest of my life. I will hold fast to the word of life, so that in the day of Christ I will have reason to glory because I did not run in vain and not labor for nothing. Philippians 2:16
Can you tell that I've been studying Philippians!? ;) I had to journal these thoughts.
