Good Sunday to all!!!I am so happy to be able to blog again! Today we were able to go eat with Grandpa Richard, Grandma Yolanda "Yaya", Aunt Heather, and Uncle JJ. It was so much fun. We went to Pericos on Sonterra. It was good! ;) Yummy! Rachel was given a CUTE purse by Aunt Heather and Uncle JJ!! It was so sweet of them to think of her! She loves it, as you can see from the picture. The purse had some accessories with it (cell phone, compact w/ mirror, and coin purse). THANK YOU Aunt and Uncle!!!! We are so blessed to have them in town with us... they are so much fun and Rachel enjoys giving Uncle JJ "fives". So much fun! :) God bless you and keep you safe! Love and Blessing from God!

Rachel, Mom and I were able to go to the Guadalupe Gorilla Challenge Family Picnic for my church (Oak Hills) this morning. The picture above is one that mom took of Rachel and I next to the river. We didn't stay long because it was TOO cold. Mom and I could have probably handled the cold because the sun came out soon enough, but poor Rachel was frozen! We didn't want her to get sick so we left. It was so beautiful though. We enjoyed seeing the river... it was going fast. We were talking about getting the family together one weekend to go to the river like we used to when we were smaller. I miss that so much! I want Rachel to be able to experience that too. I have such fond memories of my cousins, my brother and I playing in the cool river on a hot day. Our aunts and mom taking care of the food and making sure everything was just right. (Cutting up the watermelon for a snack.) The uncles barbequeing and having some good conversation on the side. :) It was such joy to see the family like that. I also have a GREAT memory of Lala (our grandma Marquez) sitting in the middle of the river (even when she had only one leg) enjoying the cool river and just washing herself. It was so great to see! I will always have those beautiful memories of the family and the fun we had! Well, enjoy this pic and maybe you too will have a good memory of going to the river! God bless you all!

Hello all! Happy Friday! :) I am so glad that the weekend is here! I wanted to add a pic of our new addition(s) to our family... our fish! ;) Rachel loves Nemo and Little Mermaid and anything that has to do with fish, the sea, and water (except when we wash her hair). Well, we mentioned the fish obsession Rachel had to Ben's parents and they bought her a fish tank with fish and all!!! It's great! :) She just loves the fish! She calls them "pishy-pishy-pishy". She LOVES to see what they are doing and absolutelly LOVES to help us feed them!!! She just can't wait to see them eat their food! She makes a cute sound effect for eating. It's adorable! I'm trying to catch it on video, but I haven't been able to yet! :) Well, I hope all is well and I pray that your weekend is a blessed one! :) God bless you!!!!
