Rachel is doing just great! She's becoming more independent daily! I'm having to set more boundaries as she explores and wanders off more! (YIKES!) It's a totally new thing for me, but I'm enjoying every minute! It's funny, you know, that 2-3 people JUST this week, have told me that staying home is the best thing that I could do right now. They were not only people that I knew, but also strangers that I met! It was like God telling me that staying home is where HE wants me to be and that I SHOULDN"T take it lightly. Believe me there are days when I wonder what it'd be like if I was teaching and had some extra money to buy a house and other things, but I AM DOING WHAT I LOVE RIGHT NOW! The materialistic things of this world CAN'T compete with the time I have with Rachel. :)

Hello all! I hope you are all doing well. We are all doing great! :) Thank our Lord! He's so good to me and my family! :)
Well, yesterday, Rachel and I went to our little lake (we live at Hidden Lake apts. so we DO have a lake, sometimes a pond when it doesn't rain). I tried to take a pic of Rachel and the lake together, but just didn't/couldn't. Well, here is the one that I did get of Rachel smiling while looking at the lake. It was a beautiful spring day! It was such a blessing from God above to be able to enjoy it. I wanted to share this special moment with you all! God bless you and keep you safe! Keep in touch!

Good morning... I was just emailing my brother and was sharing with him a scripture from Ephesians, but I thought... I need to share it in my blog. It goes like this...
For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them. Ephesians 2:10
This got me thinking about how I'm walking. I seem to be closer to God and in His word when I'm feeling anxious or sick, but I need to do that DAILY and forget about the ways of the world. I feel like this week (especially) I've been struggling to get my bible study comlete because I rather watch tv or be on the computer or just do nothing and veg. It's not good. I need to be constantly in the word of God and wanting to learn more about Him and BUILD my relationship with Him. I am praying that the Lord guide me on this and that I will take the step to be strong and continue learning from my God. I want to please my Father in heaven. :)

Okay, I have to explain this wonderful picture to you all. Rachel is smiling this CUTE smile because her Grandma "Lala" is saying "Te quiero, Te quiero, Te quiero!" in the background. It's so funny. Rachel gets all giddy when her "Lala" talks to her with such love and endearment. She really knows that she's loved very dearly! What a blessing from our God!

Hello all! I hope you are having a good week!!! I am, thank my GREAT God! He can really make a week so much better than anything we humans can imagine! I know that sounds kinda weird, but it's so true.
Well, I wanted to show you all a pic of Rachel talking on her new cell phone that she got from her Aunt Heather and Uncle JJ. It's so funny because she looks so grown up! I am so amazed at how fast time is flying... I feel like she is going to be going to college soon! (I know, that's really rushing it, but it feels like the time is flying by TOO fast!)
I hope and pray that you have a great rest of the week. Please email me to let me know how you are doing. I love to hear from my friends and family.
