If you like to talk to tomatoes,
if a squash can make you smile...
If you like to waltz with potatoes,
up and down the produce isle.....
(Have we got a show for you!)
Veggie Tales, veggie tales... (YES, this song has been in my head ALL week!)
Yep, Rachel and I met Larry and Bob in person on Saturday! ;) It was fun to see Rachel's reaction to their size! They were enormous, even for me! She was brave when the kids in front of her were posing for pics, but as soon as it was her turn, she ran to me! Thus the pic with only Larry and Bob and no Rachel! ;) We're gonna try to see Hermie at the end of June! Hopefully I'll have someone else with me so we can get a pic of Rachel and Hermie together! ;) What a fun adventure we had!
Afterwards, we went to Babies-R-Us to see some sales... there were little "stations" set up all over there store to get people to buy things, sign up for things, etc. We played "plunko" (sp?) with the Geico gecko... Rachel wanted to keep the ball we used to put in the game! She won a Geico rubber duckie that squeaks loud! Also, the gecko thing gave her a fan with his face on it! SCARY. I'm leaving it in the car, just in case it gets too hot!
They had a Kindermusik session too! That was fun! Rachel just stole the show. We were supposed to be seated around a blanket on the floor (parent & child). Well, Rachel wanted to stand in the middle the whole time and "dance". Her dance is not dancing, but more like stomping with her legs out to her side! ;) (Think sumo wrestler!) It's funny and cute, but I wanted her to do what the other kids were doing! ;) She did well, and followed along for the most part (except wanting to stand in the middle of everyone). Oh yeah, the teacher Ms. Ana asked everyone to walk around in a circle and do different movements, well Rachel wanted to be in the middle of the circle spinning! Alot of the parents were laughing! I was like, "get over here now!" She also wanted to touch Ms. Ana's boombox! (We let her touch her little radio on her changing table, so she thought that it was okay to do that to Ms. Ana's. I had to redirect her somewhere else!) It was fun! I wish I had taken out my camera to capture it on video or at least get a snapshot. :( Oh well, next time... maybe! I've gotta run! :) God bless you!
